To access public transit schedules, visit Utah Transit Authority. Our local public school system is administered through the Granite School District. Our area also has access to private schools and several public charter schools giving families several options.
Service clubs such as the Lion's Club, Kiwanis Club, Exchange Club and Rotary Club can be found in our communities and they hold regular meetings.
For those who desire to preserve and perpetuate their cultural traditions, West Valley City is home to the Cultural Celebration Center.
Each community also hosts senior centers. West Valley's Harman Home is located on the corner of 4100 South and 3600 West and you can call them at 801-965-5822. The Taylorsville Senior Center is located next to the park on the corner of 4800 South and Redwood Road and you can reach them by calling 801-293-8340. The Eddie P. Mayne Kearns Senior Center is located on 4700 South and 4800 West and their number is 801-965-9183.
