Effective January 1, 2011:

In order to simplify chamber procedures and provide helpful information to our chamber members, ChamberWest is implementing the following “best practices” to all meetings and events associated and endorsed by ChamberWest.

• Payment: ChamberWest desires pre-payment to help us contain costs in billing, postage and printing costs.  Effective January 1, 2011, ChamberWest will charge an $10 fee for those who choose 'pay at the door' and have not submitted an RSVP.
  

• R.S.V.P.: All attendees who R.S.V.P. by 12 noon the day prior to the chamber function will have a seat and meal reserved for them.  The chamber will accommodate last minute R.S.V.P’s, even the day of event, based on room and food availability.  ChamberWest now charges a $10 surcharge for those who choose to attend without an RSVP.
  

• No Shows:  Those who R.S.V.P., but do not attend the function will be required to pay for the event they reserved and will be billed the full charge by ChamberWest.  

• Cancellations: Cancellations are accepted and refunds will be given up to 24 hours prior to the function start time ONLY by calling the Chamber office at 801.977.8755 (emails are not accepted for cancellations.) 

• Event Charge: The event charge is set by ChamberWest for chamber hosted events and includes admission, meal, gratuity, room rental, service charges, taxes, and any other associated costs with the event. Although some Chamber events, where attendees purchase their own meal, have no set charge there are associated facility costs and therefore admission to these events requires a purchase and gratuity.  

• Dietary Needs: ChamberWest is pleased to accommodate special dietary and food allergy requests as available at events where ChamberWest is responsible for food services. Simply inform the Chamber office no later than 72 hours prior to the event by calling 801.977.8755.  There are no additional costs for this service.
