LeadershipWest is a nine-month professional training program to prepare members of the business community today for leadership roles tomorrow.
LeadershipWest is a training series designed by ChamberWest to provide a variety of opportunities for business leaders to learn more about the challenges facing our west-side communities. The training series is ideal for those who are interested in becoming more involved, who want to gain the tools to make more informed decisions, and who want to improve their leadership abilities.
LeadershipWest broadens participants’ experiences by:
-
Using real-world examples, participants are able to discern better solutions to current problems
-
Stimulating interest in community activities and encouraging participation in local affairs
-
Providing access to a multitude of community resources that cannot be gained elsewhere
-
Familiarizing emerging leaders with one another and with the community’s current business and civic leadership
This is a very popular program and only a limited number of participants may attend. Tuition is $700 for the entire series of 9 sessions and includes:
Leadership Book: 'From Good to Great' and 'The Present'
